Mounting geometry
Caliper/backing-plate mounts and axle flange/rotor relationship must put the rotor in the correct plane for the caliper.
The rear housing can be correct while the brake and parking-brake system is still incompatible.
Caliper/backing-plate mounts and axle flange/rotor relationship must put the rotor in the correct plane for the caliper.
Cable routing, actuator style and bracket position must be preserved or intentionally converted. A parking brake that “almost reaches” is not a completed swap.
The rear center hose and hard-line routing must remain protected through full suspension travel and service access.
After the swap, verify pedal feel, leak-free hydraulic operation, parking-brake hold, wheel/rotor/caliper clearance and ABS/TCS function before normal road use.
