Why they exist
Lowering changes rear lower-control-arm angle. UMI markets relocation brackets specifically to restore/correct that angle and improve traction geometry.
Relocation brackets correct geometry only when the bracket matches the rear housing and the chosen hole matches the actual ride height/use.

UMI lists a separate relocation-bracket version specifically for Moser Engineering rear ends. Do not assume a bracket for the factory housing fits an aftermarket housing.
Current UMI offerings include both bolt-in and weld-in designs. Installation method is part of the compatibility decision, not an afterthought.
The goal is not maximum bracket drop; it is the correct control-arm geometry for the car's ride height, tire, power delivery and use. Verify interference and driveline behavior after adjustment.
